Tivatska solila

Tivatska Solela is a unique natural bird sanctuary, located on the site of the former medieval salt ponds. It is located near Tivat, between Tivat airport and the Lustica peninsula. Many people visit it to see both migratory and local birds, such as pink flamingos and black cormorants. And sea falcons, where there are many walking paths for visitors, and in addition to birds, 14 species of rare amphibians and reptiles live in this reserve, 3 of which are endangered species, and these salt marsh lands were declared a protected area in 2007.
