Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah
This amazing shrine is located opposite the Taj Mahal shrine and mosque, so you will see the Taj Mahal very clearly from inside the shrine. The shrine was built between 1622 and 1628 during the Mongol rule in the city. It is distinguished by its red sandstone building, surrounded on all sides by exquisitely beautiful white marble garlands. The shrine was built by Nur Jahan, the wife of a Mughal ruler, in memory of her father.
