Tour Fromage
An ancient tower located to the north of the historic Praetorian gate in the archaeological area of the Roman theater. The tower is surrounded by a group of ancient buildings dating back to the Middle Ages. The tower was built in the twelfth century on the eastern side of the city walls. The tower is originally owned by a family Fromage (Du Fromage o Casei), then turned into the nobility of the Vodan family in the fifteenth century after Ginette Fromage, the last heiress of the Casey family, married Claude Vodan. The tower has recently become a prominent tourist attraction in the city, which includes many temporary exhibitions that are held from time to time in the place.
