Uetliberg

At 2,850 feet above sea level, the Oetliberg mountain towers over the rooftops of Zurich, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the city, the lake, and the surrounding Alps. This enchanting mountain is very popular with locals and tourists, especially in the month of November, as its summit often offers a stunning view of the sea of mist that can cover the entire city at this time of the year. In the summer, there are many hiking trails, mountain bike routes, and the Planet Trail, which takes you for two hours on a wonderful tour through a model of our solar system, while in the winter, the hiking trails leading to the summit are converted into ski trails. It is worth noting that the top of Oetliberg Mountain can only be reached by train, and trains run regularly from Zurich Central Train Station and take about 30 minutes, or you can go by car to Oetikon and Weldig train stations and from there take the train to the top of the summit, and the journey takes about 8 minutes.
