Ulcinj Salina Nature Park

Ulcinj Salina Nature Park is a former salt producer, and today it is a safe and comfortable home for more than 250 species of birds, some of which are rare and endangered, and this is the only area in Montenegro where salt is traditionally made as a product of the sea, sun and wind Summer of 2019, it was officially declared a natural park. Every year, millions of birds visit Ulcinj Salina, as the number of flocks sometimes reaches 40,000 birds during their migrations from Africa to Europe and vice versa, and the biggest attraction in the park is the flamingos, where these beautiful pink creatures can be observed from a distance or even approach it.
