Description of the place
Bergen University Museum was founded in 1825 in Bergen, Norway. The museum is divided into two parts, the natural history collections and the cultural history collections and public outreach and exhibitions. It contained many art collections, including many works by the painter Johan Christian Dahl, cultural artifacts, and craft items. He owns a wonderful botanical garden, which was laid out between 1897 and 1899.
