University of Bern

The University of Bern was founded in 1834. It is one of the monuments that you should not miss in the city, as the university buildings are very beautiful. Inside, you feel that you have gone back in time, as you will find domes, columns, and giant glass windows, and in the outer courtyards there are vast green spaces filled with trees and plants, in which there are many places for rest and picnics. It is easy to access this university as it is located in a central place in the city and you can reach it through the main train station.
