Upper Barrakka Gardens - Valetta

It is a public park in Valletta, offering panoramic views of the city. The arches of the garden were built in 1661. It is mentioned that the garden was originally roofed, but the roof was removed in 1775. The gardens were originally used to provide entertainment for the Italian knights, but were opened to the public after the end of the French occupation of Malta in the 1800s.
