Uzungol

Lake Uzungol, whose name means "Long Lake", is considered the most beautiful lake in Turkey. It is located in the village of Uzungol in Trabzon Province. It was formed when a landslide changed the course of the river into a natural dam and reflected all the colors of the surrounding valleys amazingly. A small piece of Switzerland in the Black Sea region of Turkey, it is characterized by a stunning view surrounded by high green mountains on all sides, and there are many easy walking paths in the surrounding hills, and you may be lucky here to spot the Eurasian lynx, roe deer, badger, or one of the types of birds of prey.
