The Association of Friends of Traffic Brauchwig was founded on March 24, 1949 by some people interested in traffic facilities and traffic problems and is the operator of the locomotive park and the historical railway traffic. This association constitutes a community of railway enthusiasts of different ages and occupations who share an interest in railways; They seek to preserve and, if possible, restore historic rolling stock, and organize tours along the historic railways to faraway destinations.
