Description of the place
The Verzasca Dam is also called the "Contra Dam", and it is located in the Ticino region of Switzerland. It is about 220 meters long and was built on the Verzasca River in 1965. It is very famous due to being one of the highest dams in Switzerland and throughout Europe, and it is also One of the highest bungee jumping platforms, behind it lies the village of San Bartolomeo de la Vertezzo, famous for its 15th-century Roman bridge.
