Virgin Keriotissa Church

The stories say that one of the shepherds saw something shining when he was grazing his sheep in a field near the current site of the Church of the Virgin Kyriotissa, so he decided to set fire to the herbs to know what it was, and if he found a very beautiful painting of the Virgin Mary carrying her son Jesus Christ, he took it and put it in the place where The church was built in it, and this is how its location is determined. Visitors can still see traces of the fire on the edge of the painting in the church's core, as well as other paintings, murals, and icons.
