Virgin Mary Church

The Church of the Virgin Mary, located in Republic Square, belongs to the Syriac Catholic sect. It was built in 1986 AD, with a contemporary architectural design that includes arches, round stone columns, and balustrades in the courtyard. Today, the church is one of the most important archaeological and religious attractions in the city of Mardin, and it has been used many times as a Catholic religious museum in which prayers, hymns, and monks' clothes are displayed.
