Vlierbeek Abbey

If you want to explore the surroundings of Leuven, a visit to Fleurbeek Abbey is a good option. You can cycle, walk or take a bus from Central Station, as it is a few kilometers from the city centre. It's a very nice place, completely renovated and relatively modern looking, with a walled garden next to the cemetery with a nice gazebo where you can have a refreshing drink in the open air and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the peace of the area.
