The Warsaw Zoo was founded on March 11, 1928. It is located in the heart of the capital and covers an area of 40 hectares. It includes more than 3,500 animals from different environments, in addition to nearly 10,000 fish and countless invertebrates representing more than 500 species, including That's about 40 endangered species.
