The history of Wat Phra Ram Temple dates back to 1369 AD, and it was built at the cremation site of the first King of Ayutthaya, U Thong. It is famous for the images of Buddha carved on its outer walls, and it also includes many ornate stupas. Behind this temple there is a public garden with a large pond, and there is a walking path that leads to the famous Wat Mahathat.
