Water Castle

The Water Castle is located in Freiburg, Germany. The facade is but camouflage, behind it there is no real castle with prince and carriage, but plenty of water; Since 1895, a high-level reservoir has served the drinking water supply in East Freiburg as small channels in the centre, and the water flows without pumps into the homes only by a natural gradient. The model for the design was the seal of the city of Freiburg from 1245, and the fountain at the front of the castle provides a nice view.
