Watermill at Kollen

Colin Water Mill is located along the Dommel River. The mill dates back to the 14th century, when it burned down and was rebuilt in 1681. It had two buildings, one of which was a mill and the other was an oil mill. The building is still in good condition, as the mill is used sparingly. The famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh lived near the mill site and painted many paintings while he was in the area, including a painting of the mill in 1884, which gave the place great importance; The mill was listed as a National Cultural Monument in 1972.
