Weserburg Museum of Modern Art

The Wasserburg Museum of Modern Art was founded in 1991 and quickly became one of the most prestigious international museums of modern art in Europe. The museum enjoys a picturesque location inside an old building located on the bank of the river. It is one of the largest museums of modern art in Germany with an area of about 6,000 square metres. The museum focuses on artworks from the sixties to the present, including paintings, statues, sculptures, and sculptures. It contains the largest collection of published artworks in Europe.
