The White Tower of Thessaloniki is a monument and museum on the waterfront of Thessaloniki in northern Greece. It is the most well-known landmark in Thessaloniki and a symbol of the city due to its prominent location, long history and luxurious architecture. This tower was built in the fifteenth century to replace the oldest Byzantine fortifications dating back to To the twelfth century, and later rebuilt by the Ottomans, and today the tower is open to the public, and offers them an opportunity to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view from above.
