Description of the place
The city of Izmir has a number of distinctive historical places with valuable meanings, and one of these landmarks is the World Peace Memorial, which was established in an attempt to spread peace and a global call for its establishment in all parts of the globe. The monument was distinguished by a distinctive huge design, consisting of a glass stone ball carried on stone beams, surrounded by a number of statues and sculptures that suggest peace.
