Xerri's Grotto
Chiri Grotto in Gozo is a cave discovered by a local resident in 1923 while digging a water well under his house. It is not far from the famous Nino Cave in the city, but it is larger and contains unique limestone and rock formations. The cave can be reached by going down a narrow staircase. The cave has been equipped with lights so that visitors can have the best possible experience in the place. Inside the cave, visitors will also find some belongings of the cave discoverer's family, as his family used the cave as a refuge during the world wars.
