Yenicuma Mosque

The Friday Mosque is an ancient historical mosque in Trabzon. It was built during Byzantine times as the Church of Hagios Eugenius dedicated to Saint Eugenius, the patron saint of the city. After the city was captured by Sultan Mehmed II in 1461 AD, it was converted like many churches in that city. to a mosque; Today, the mosque is considered one of the most important religious tourist attractions that tourists visit in Trabzon.
