Yeonmudae

Yeonmudi is located within the grounds of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress on a relatively high hill near the eastern gate of the fortress. It was used as a military observation post and as a training ground for troops for more than two centuries. In this building, they learned fighting skills using swords, spears, and arrows. UNESCO has placed this landmark on the World Heritage List for its beauty and historical richness.
