Ajman Castle
Ajman Castle dates back to the seventeenth century, i.e. the late Renaissance, and was ruled by a number of kings and noble families such as Angerburg and Widmannsstätten. A chapel was built in 1733 and contains a mural on the altar wall by Frank Jelovšek. He is one of the most famous Slovenian painters in the eighteenth century, and the palace was renovated several times over the years and today it houses the Ursuline Monastery.
