Brdo Castle

Brdo Castle is located in the Slovenian region of Upper Carniola, west of the village of Pridosli. It is the first Renaissance palace in Carniola, dating back to the sixteenth century. The celebration of half a thousand years of its existence was recently celebrated, and it is distinguished by internal wall paintings indicating the antiquity of the place, in addition to gardens. Vast, it is today the Slovenian government's main venue for diplomatic meetings and other government-sponsored events.
