Al Darmaki Fort

Al Darmaki Castle, known locally by its full name Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Darmaki Castle, is located in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The castle was built in the forties of the nineteenth century by the ancestors of Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad to protect the Qattara Oasis, and in the year 1990 AD, it was completely restored, to become one of the most important landmarks of the ancient tourist city of Al Ain. Here you can take tours of the outer courtyards or even see the distinctive internal divisions of the castle, which reflect a whole history.
