Al Hosn Palace

Qasr al-Hosn symbolizes the ancient history of the Sultanate of Oman and testifies to the birth of the founder of the Omani revolution, Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur. It also contains the second copy of the will addressed to the honorable family council through the Defense Council, which stipulated the transfer of the ruler’s mandate to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Muazzam. The palace is characterized by an elegant white building with a traditional urban design, reflecting the ancient Omani heritage.
