Almoravid Koubba
The Almoravid dome is a small monument in Marrakesh, Morocco, and it dates back to the twelfth century. The dome is considered the oldest building in Marrakesh, as it was built in 1064 AD and is the only remaining example of architecture from the Almoravid family that is still in the Red City. The dome was mainly used for ablution Where it derived its water from an underground system and the water was poured from bronze tubes. The interior of the Almoravid dome was lavishly decorated, and the floral patterns and calligraphy carved into the walls of the structure are still in remarkably pristine condition.
