Amritapuri

world-famous temple located 29 km from Kollam. This temple was initially a house for the family of a woman called "Ama", a name she acquired later and means the Indian mother, and after she acquired and attracted the students from all over the world to deliver her life and religious teachings to them, the building turned into a temple and dozens of huts were added for the students near it. The temple currently accommodates more than 5,000 students.
