Thevalli Palace
Thevali Palace or Tivali Palace is a famous heritage palace located on the banks of Lake Ashtamudi in the city of Kollam, and it is one of the most important monuments in the city, because it testifies to the period of British colonialism in India. The palace was built in the years between 1811 and 1819, and the building smiled with majestic architecture that mixed British, Dutch and Portuguese styles. Indian kings and princes used the palace in that period to meet British officials.
