Anamudi

This mountain in Idukki is the highest peak in the Western Ghats and South India, rising 2,479 meters above sea level. The name of the mountain "Annamoudi" is translated into Arabic as "Elephant's Head", due to the similarity of its summit to the downed trunk of an elephant. This summit is also known as the "Everest of South India" because it is one of the favorite destinations for climbers in the world. On the mountain, many activities can be carried out, such as going on long and short trails, camping, hiking, and others.
