Ancient Roman City Gigthis

The ancient Roman city of Jactis is located in the state of Medenine, and it is one of the Phoenician colonies that was founded in the sixth century BC. It witnessed great prosperity in the Roman era and became an important commercial station, due to its strategic location between Leptis Al-Kabri and Carthage, and its fame stems today from its embrace of ancient monuments.
