Mosque Sidi Sahbi
Admire the majestic façade and elaborately carved stone interiors of the Sidi Al-Sahbi Mosque (Masjid Al-Hallaq), built over the tomb of Muhammad Abu Zuma'a al-Balawi, the city's patron. Originally built in the 13th century with many gardens, this spacious complex was extended and rebuilt in the mid-17th century. Andalusian-style minarets rise above the mosque, while the interior features elaborate tiles and richly ornamented stucco panels with stained glass windows.
