Description of the place
The stone palace of Angelokastro, also known as the Angel's Castle, perches on the highest beach peak on Corfu Island overlooking the sea from above and protects the inhabitants of the city from any possible danger or invasion as if it were its guardian angel. Tourists come in large numbers to visit this palace to enjoy its panoramic view, take souvenir photos with their family or friends, and eat a meal of local Greek cuisine in nearby restaurants.
