Anta de Adrenunes

Anta de Adrenones, located on a hilltop 426 meters above sea level in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, is believed to be a Paleolithic burial chamber or megalithic monument. 5 meters high and topped by monoliths resting horizontally on vertical stones, and it is believed that the passage served as a mass grave or dolmen during the Stone Age, although no artifacts or burial chambers were found to prove this.
