Anto Tower
The Anton Tower is a tower belonging to the medieval city walls of Coimbra, and it consists of four floors connected to each other by a narrow spiral staircase, and its name is due to the fact that the poet Antonio Nobre lived in it at the end of the nineteenth century, and used it as an inspiration for some The poems that are part of his most famous works. The tower underwent a major restoration at the beginning of the sixteenth century, but its appearance has remained almost unchanged to this day.
