Australian Museum
The Australian Museum is the first museum in Australia, which was established in 1827, and was included in the National Heritage List, which specializes in displaying collections on natural history and anthropology. The museum includes a variety of departments, including the Department of the Age of Fish in Canwindra, and the Department of Australian Fossils and Minerals, which includes Somerville's mineral and dinosaur collection, donated by Warren Somerville. The museum has also hosted numerous exhibitions since 1854, including permanent and temporary exhibitions, such as the Dinosaur Show in China. Programs also include live performances to help explain animal behaviors and adaptations, video conferencing, and programs for school children.
