Australian War Memorial
The memorial, opened in 1941, honors the Australian warriors who fell while defending their land. The Australian War Memorial houses a shrine, world-class museum and comprehensive archive and, through these facilities, seeks to help Australians remember, interpret and understand the Australian experience of war and its lasting impact on Australian society. It includes galleries for various shows, in the midst of large spaces inside, which include several sections and corners of paintings, models, and exhibits about war, such as tanks, weapons, and others.
