Ayas Houses

Concentrated in an organic tapestry around the bazaar area at the bottom of the valley and on the slopes of the valley in northern Ankara, Ayash houses have the typical features of traditional Turkish houses in terms of architectural features. In general, two-and-a-half-story houses built of wood have barns, cellars, and servants' rooms in large houses on the ground floor, and on the upper floors, which are the main living areas, there are two or three rooms, as well as spaces such as the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet.
