Beylerbeyi Palace
This picturesque palace was built in the nineteenth century and is located in the Asian part of Istanbul. This summer residence was used for the sultans to host foreign heads of state visiting the Ottoman capital. Several palaces were built and demolished on this site over the years. As for this existing palace, the structure was built between 1861 and 1865 AD, at the time of the authorities, Mahmoud II, and it contains six bedrooms and 26 smaller rooms. As for the outside, the palace overlooks the Bosphorus Strait, and is surrounded by a number of wonderful gardens that give the palace a special beauty and elegance.
