Bab Al Bahrain is a historic building located in Customs Square in Manama's central business district. It represents the main entrance to the Manama market. Bab Al Bahrain opened in 1949 and was designed by the British advisor to Prince Charles Belgrave, as it enjoys being a masterpiece of great beauty, and reflects the magnificence of the design, and due to the urban expansion, the structure is now several kilometers inside the country. It is located near the King Faisal Highway, which leads to the bridge connecting the country with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Bahrain Financial Harbor and other nearby landmarks.
