Banknote Museum of the Ionian Bank

The Ionian Bank Banknote Museum is located on the first floor of the historic building where the first branch of the Ionian Bank in Corfu Town was located. The museum includes a wide collection of bank holdings, a number of banknotes, and coins that document a history spanning more than 200 years of the work of the Ionian Bank. You can also view a collection of Greek local currency bonds before the use of the euro, and Greek currency printing plates.
