Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla
The Santa María Regla basaltic posts are long vertical joints of basaltic rock that are located near the state of Hidalgo. The valley walls are surrounded by polygonal columns 30 to 50 meters high, with five or six sides on each. The basalt columns were created by the slow cooling of lava. As for the waterfalls, there are two upper and lower waterfalls, and the natural valley is equipped with stairs, paths, and hanging bridges to facilitate the access of visitors to it to live a beautiful adventure.
