The National Portrait Library is a photo library based on the National Institute of Anthropology and History, located in the state of Hidalgo. It houses the most important photographic collection in the country, protecting about 900,000 photographic objects from various holdings and donations distributed in 46 collections; It represents the works of more than a thousand authors and covers a period of time from 1847 AD to the present day. This library can be described as the true legacy of the city of Hidalgo.
