Basilica of the Visitation
The Basilica of the Visitation was built in the early 20th century according to the plans of the Prix de Rome-winning architect Alfred-Henri Recoura. It is a neo-Romanesque building, with a tower more than seventy meters high surmounted by a bronze cross Seven meters, and the interior decoration contrasts with the simplicity of the external appearance of the church, as it contains columns made of blue Savoy marble, and the stained glass windows tell the story of the founding saints of the visitation order.
