This unique place was established in 1987 and has thousands of visitors from all over the world who come to see the handmade Turkish carpets. For centuries, carpets have been created as accent pieces for the interiors of Turkish homes. Anatolian women used high-quality natural materials such as wool and silk in order to make carpets, and the museum shows the daily life of this period in a distinctive way.
