Name of the place
Bekhuset
Bekhuset
It is a small building built in the sixties of the nineteenth century in the heart of the port. It is very small and has an area of exactly 3 * 3. It was used by fishermen and sea workers to boil tar and make the sails waterproof before starting their voyages across the sea. Because tar was easily flammable, this building was built at a good distance from other port buildings. Thousands of visitors visit this small building, which is still standing, to learn about the city's history.
