It is a carved tiger with a wonderful souvenir story for the city of Oslo, Norway, which is, when Oslo celebrated its 1000th anniversary in 2000, Eiendomsspar wanted to give the city a gift. Oslo wanted a tiger, because it was called the City of the Tiger, and this is what they got: a 4.5-meter bronze tiger by Elena Engelsen.
