Description of the place
The Béla Bartók Memorial House is where the great composer Béla Bartók resided from 1932 to 1940. Visits are by guided tour and include a viewing of the old Edison recorder (complete with wax cylinders) that Bartók used to record Hungarian folk music, Plus dining room furniture and even half a cigarette he smoked! Chamber music concerts are held here throughout the year.
